I recently added a new logo project. Above is the process behind the mark. One of the more interesting parts of being a designer is the journey you take to get from initial idea to final product. When a client comes to you with an idea you have to learn to see the world through their eyes and find a visual solution to the spark that exists solely in their imagination. Creating a word bank gets the juices flowing where you start to improvise on different imagery for a variety of words. The digital concepts tend to become a chaotic universe of lots of different ideas. But sometimes it takes an outsider to stop by and say "hey, I think you have something here." Sometimes I think to myself "What? I dragged that idea off into the grey abyss beyond the art board for a reason." But then with a new set of eyes and perspective you see another iteration. And eventually you land on a final solution.
Every project is its own story curated by the previous stories that came before it. And just like a Jodi Picoult novel you begin to see how everyones story meets to create the same ending.
You can see the full project here.
